Travis Tackett

About Me

I began using computers at a young age. By the time I was a young adult, I knew I would be creating solutions for people to use technology better. I quickly discovered I had a knack not only for computer science but also for customer service. I have dedicated my work life to helping others understand their technological problems and implement practical and cost-effective solutions.

What I Do

Cloud

The industry is moving to cloud-based solutions, and I have over six years of cloud-focused experience. I have implemented a hybrid-cloud infrastructure with a focus on Platform as a Service solutions.

Enterprise Architecture

I play a decisive role in setting the technical architecture for the Florida Department of Transportation. I regularly proof of concept new technology, create and enforce standards, and create an ecosystem for developers to live and play.

Strategy

Having a well rounded technical strategy for your organization will help you achieve the digital transformation you want and need. I create and sell IT strategy to my peers, customers, and leadership.

Management

I manage a team of technology-minded folk in both the development and infrastructure architecture arenas. I enable my team by being on the front line with them. I lead with the ideology of consultation and persuasiveness.
